Miami Personal Injury Attorney Brett L. Schlacter is the founder and managing partner at Schlacter Law, serving clients throughout Miami. Raised in New York, he attended the University of Florida for his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Finance and then received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Law School. While there, he served as Senior Staff for the NSU Law School’s Law Review.

Mr. Schlacter’s outstanding legal work has earned him a number of prestigious awards and accolades including:

Mr. Schlacter founded BLS Tutoring, one of South Florida’s most well-respected and prominent tutoring companies for law school students.

Beginning his legal career in a small boutique firm focusing on civil, business, real estate, and corporate law. After gaining valuable experience, Mr. Schlacter then worked for a larger, national firm focused on representing property owners and corporations, such as hotel owners, casinos, condo associations, commercial freight companies, nightclubs, and bars in a variety of personal injury, code violations, and premises liability claims. There Mr. Schlacter gained experience in negligent security and many property offenses, such as assault, rape, and other attacks.
